 T he art holds own language, robust by the perception of human creativity and deeds. As a medium of discourse architecture based on certain ideology, thoughts and manifests some kind of narratives perceived by the social milieu. It may be controversial in exposure and subsequently get impacted (addition). 8  As roots in cold war discourse, Vietnam war long last for 25 years (1955-75) destructive for both sides. But remained as question mark on masculinity and traditional grand narrative of American power and dominancy. After war soldiers did not expect neglecting behavior of their sacrifice and patriotic duty by the government and society of United States. They had experience and emotions ready to share. But in the last they had to struggle for their title.

It was first national memorial to an American war built since WW2 memorial. The incommunicability of their experience in arena and construction of an identity for veterans had been primary narrative in VVM discourse. Should be Apolitical and harmonious with a site and contains the name who or are missing in action. Marginalization of women, more than 15000 served as lifeline in combat.

 Maya Lin (b.1959) Chinise- American chosen anonymo- usly for the design of VVM. FIG8

-Maya lin  The chronological listing of names on the wall provide it with a narrative framework.  Walking through the wall provides virtual journey to the war scenario.  Not only remembering opportunity to indulge with soldiers and to think about their family, friends and relatives. FIG8

 Clear political message.  Modern abstract design, complicated to understand.  The relationship of memorial to the earth does refuse to evoke the heroism and victory, even the invisibility of the monument at ground level symbolizes the “unmentionability” of the war.  Touching and cutting the earth is creating wound instead of healing.  Questioned about the identity of ‘Maya Lin’.

FIG9  Sculptor Frederick Hart was chosen to design ‘Three soldier’ in 1984. He seemed his technique or idea more humanist and realistic with the single narrative for veterans and martyred.  About Maya Lin:- nihilistic appeal, with no knowledge of subject, “ a mere student”.

 As male soldiers, being women this Section had to struggle more for their representation. In 1993 Glenna Gooda- cre sculpted three women soldiers Known as ‘Vietnam Women Memorial’. FIG10

 The ritual of endowing memo- rial artifacts change the site in Form of cultural symbol where visitors devote personal sacrific- Es loaded with emotion. It is off- Ical recognition of their sorrow and an opportunity to express a grief that was not previously sanctioned. National Park Service is keeping these private memories to collective experience. FIG11

 VVM explained as ‘Black Gash of Shame’ by critiques but it break the tradition of architecture, narratives and image of nation. The memorial is seen as representing a wound in the process of healing. It is important to think for veterans genetic deformities due to the exposure of Agent Orange.
