These reports cover areas such as failure analysis; wherein failures can be analyzed across tests, products, programs, brands, divisions, departments, fail codes and vendors. Additionally, a tolerance report has the capability to analyze how the supply chain would perform in the eventuality of an impending regulatory activity. Supplier Scorecard: Many Brands continue to relook and evolve their quality assurance approach. BV CPS has developed a risk-based program across testing, inspections, and audits. It provides clients with a systematic, information based approach to reduce their QC spend while rewarding suppliers who demonstrate the ability to produce consistent quality over time. The program is linked to pre-defined qualification criteria in the following areas: Quality performance Factory Audit scorecard performance Social Accountability scorecard performance Factory Security Audit scorecard performance Valid pass product test report Additional factory controls such as in-factory testing through a Factory lab accreditation program KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT: Regulatory & Standards Management: The Regulations and Standards Management (RSM) subscription service provides ready information about the various geographically demarcated and product taxonomy-driven standards and regulations that affect your product portfolio. The tool allows us to manage and maintain regulatory and standards information for product categories, and at the product level for the countries in which you operate. Information can be further tagged with meta-data that allows for alignment with standard product taxonomy and which allows for easy querying of the database. Since the solution will be web-based and secured via role-based security, we will be able to provide tailored access to all stakeholders within your supply chain. The following is a brief overview of the Regulatory and Standards Management (RSM) database. Powerful database available in OneSource™ containing consumer product requirements for countries and regions around the world Instant access to product requirements by region, country or product Subscribe only to the products and countries you need Real-time maintenance of information Dedicated BV CPS staff tracking and maintaining content Download information to read later from your desktop Quick and advanced searching options SYSTEM INTEGRATION: Electronic Data Interchange: Since systems and solutions vary throughout the various industries we support, we have taken a well-established systems approach to information integration. We do not build direct system-to-system interfaces. Our interfaces are primarily driven by data interchange via the use of industry standard formats such as EDI or XML feeds. We accept incoming information from the source PLM system – and this information can be aligned with our current testing and inspection request procedures. Furthermore, we can also accept referential information feeds upfront, so data interchange can include keys to ensure high data integrity. Similarly, we can also feedback information from our systems back to the PLM system. Benefits of such a bidirectional data interchange process are: Rapid exchange of information driven by standard interchange protocols High information integrity and security A reduction in on-holds at the service provider due to lack of accurate information, resulting in overall improvement of turnaround time Turnaround time can further be enhanced by minimizing data entry on sample receipt and report generation as well as by minimizing transcription errors related report rework. A reduction in the client’s spend on provisioning expensive PLM systems licenses for the service providers System Integration • Client Electronic Data Interchange • Third Party Lab/ Inspection Report Integration Decision Support • Business Intelligence Reporting • Supplier Scorecards
