3 Five Areas of Growth 1. Meticulous: Focus on organization and preparedness for all aspects of our academic, extracurricular, and personal lives 2. Urbane: Work on refining behavior in various situations. Expanding vocabulary as it relates to reading and writing. 3. Sagacity: Focus on grades and success on standardized tests. 4. Edify: Focus on ensuring each other’s success and building a family 5. Muse: Reflect on experiences to make better informed decisions about the future

Part of Speech: adj. Definition: excessively careful; painstaking; scrupulous Example: The finicky millionaire was insistent that the housekeeper be meticulous in cleaning the bathrooms.

5 Vocabulary: Urbane Part of Speech: adj.
Definition: notably polite or polished in manner Example: Her urbane behavior made it obvious that this was not her first visit to a fine dining restaurant

6 Vocabulary: Sagacity Part of Speech: n
Definition: the quality of being keen in judgement Example: When selecting a college to attend, it is important to proceed with great sagacity.

7 Vocabulary: Edify Part of Speech: v
Definition: to instruct to improve, enlighten, or uplift Example: The motivational speaker related a personal experience in order to edify his audience.

8 Vocabulary: Muse Part of Speech: v
Definition: to become absorbed in thought; to turn something over in the mind Example: Sometimes she would sit and muse about the options for her future.
