15 Note Taking Examples Abbreviation : Write “Dr.” instead of writing the word Doctor. List : Use numbers (1, 2, 3), letters (A, B, C). For example: A grocery list. Bullets: The examples on this page are bulleted. They help the note taker organize key points.
