On the slab people must leave their shoes off. The PDS delegates feel invested in this activity. They requested their own set of counseling cards. They are linking with the health district workers. In addition, the officals in the two health districts committed to coordinating efforts so similar activities do not take place in the same villages and to assist in covering all villages, not just those chosen by project. Dr. Drabo, the head of the NTD unit has indicated that the World Bank is giving a grant for NTDs that will include communication and behavior change efforts. He is starting his advocacy now to make sure a significant WASH component will be designed into the activities.
