We continue to add safe, reliable capacity to the Landstar network and saw record growth in the number of BCOs added in 2014, combined with a record low turnover rate of 22% -well below the industry average.
Trucks provided by BCOs were 8,792, 8,932 and 9,441 at September 2014, December 2014 and September 2015, respectively.

Railroad transit times are consistently improving, significantly reducing the gap between OTR and Rail. With high-tech lift technology and articulated intermodal railcars, damage to freight is minimized. And according to the EPA, railroads account for just 9 percent of total transportation-related nitrogen oxide emissions while also alleviating highway congestion.
