--Assist all students with course planning and registration decisions --Meet individually with juniors and their parents to discuss post high school options --Assist students with investigating post high school options on Naviance --Deliver classroom lessons in the area of college/career readiness

--Assist all students with their social and emotional counseling needs --Run counseling groups for a variety of topics as needed by our students --Deliver classroom lessons in the area of social/emotional counseling --Collaborates with community mental health partners for appropriate referral resources

7 SENIOR YEAR SCHEDULING
January 29 – February 8th SRT group meetings. Students will come home with white selection sheet and instructions Skyward requests will be open from January 29th-March 2nd Course requests will be made via Skyward – Student Portal NOT Parent Portal Teachers will make recommendations for English, Math, and Social Studies

9 DUAL CREDIT Dual Credit opportunities are available for many of our classes at CHS and CTE classes. IUN: A list of dual credit classes are available in the counseling office. IVY TECH: Classroom teachers do enrollments. BALL STATE (Japanese): Classroom teachers do enrollments. USI (Radio 2): Classroom teachers do enrollments.

Take as early as March of the junior year and no later than December of the senior year. Be prepared for the writing component. Test more than once – we super-score. Have your scores sent directly to the schools to which you are applying.
