Imagine we have a data warehouse project with multiple developers checking in often during the week.
Every time they check in we want too:
Build for the test environment.
Deploy to the test environment.
Run an ETL batch.
Run some automated tests.
If the tests pass in the test environment, then notify an approver. That person decides to deploy the release to Prod and schedules it to deploy overnight.
