1 Introduction: RFQ 2.0 QTE Type
Request for Quote Version 2.0

2 RFQ 2.0: What is Changing RFQ has been enhanced to allow for a more stream lined self service experience. The new version of RFQ will have all of the same features as it currently does, but with increased flexibility and more functionality. The new look of RFQ will allow consistency for those submitting QTE types, and other special price requests. Some of the new features include: Progress Wizard Suspend/Resume Price Break Quantity

3 Getting Started: RFQ 2.0 RFQ 2.0 is available at under My Account. RFQ 1 is still available for QTE type only. But, we are encouraging you to use RFQ 2.0 during this pilot period so that you can get a feel of the direction we are going and provide us with some feed back.

4 RFQ 2.0: Getting Started Click on the RFQ 2.0 hyperlink. The screen will refresh, and the RFQ Inquiry screen will appear. Click Request A Quote: Based on the security profiles, the following screen may appear: Users with security to other pricing functions should select QTE and click continue.

5 RFQ 2.0 Quote Entry: QTE Type
A progress Wizard has been added to RFQ This will allow users to see the progress of their quote entry. The Steps of the Wizard are shown below: Each area is designed to allow users to input specific information as needed. As users progress further into their quote, progress will be mapped on the wizard.

6 RFQ 2.0 Cancel Quote and Save For Later
A new enhancement to RFQ is the ability to Cancel your quote, or Save for later. During any point of quote entry users have the ability to cancel their quote request, or save the quote request to resume at a later time. These tools are located above the progress wizard. Simply click the hyperlink, or tool box and your quote will be cancelled or your progress will be saved.

7 RFQ 2.0: Requestor Info Change address to match branch location on the Requestor Info portion of the wizard. Any information in put into this screen will populate here each time

8 RFQ 2.0: Quote Information
POS customer is no longer required, so to track your quote by reference number all information should be put into Customer Reference number area - POS Customer is no longer a required field. All pertinent information that should display on the output, or that should be reviewed by TE Customer Care is entered here.

9 RFQ 2.0: Add Parts

10 RFQ 2.0: Validation Green Checks indicate all information is valid. A Red X will indicate edits are needed. Warning messages will appear in yellow, and should be reviewed. Any edits can be done at this time.

11 RFQ 2.0: Add Attachments View existing attached documents

12 RFQ 2.0: Review and Submit

13 RFQ 2.0: Review and Submit Edit parts allows for you to add parts from the review screen before submitting.

14 RFQ 2.0: Submit RFQ will provide your TE Quote Number at the time of quote submission.

15 RFQ 2.0 Quote Inquiry Enhancements have been made to RFQ inquiry
The new features include: Request Type Filter Status Filter Advanced Search Feature Information Typically displayed only on the PDF Output, will display in the application. Direct Hyper Link to Product Details Screen Resume Feature

18 RFQ 2.0 Results: Show and Hide Details
Use the Hide/Show details Icons to display more or less information as needed. Use the hyperlinks provided to enter into the quote, or to view the PDF Output.

19 RFQ 2.0 Completed Quotes PDF Quotes will be sent via to the requestor, and all additional recipients, at the time of quote completion. Additional copies of the PDF will continue to be available to you on RFQ Inquiry. All Information visible on the PDF Output will now display in the application with in Quote Details.

20 RFQ 2.0 Summary RFQ 2.0 is a one stop shop for users to submit standard Quotes to TE Customer Care, and to submit special pricing requests The new progress wizard allows for an easier, more streamed line quote request process. Enhancements on RFQ Inquiry allow more information to be easily displayed for users. Additional search criteria will provide a fast, more thorough search when looking for existing quotes.
