Format all papers for access to cite sources and grading. Paper needs to have the following: Double Spaced New Times Roman 12 Font Print in black ink Make sure you have the correct heading (name, date, class/period, and teacher) and a title centered on the page after the heading. FIRST- Final Draft of your narrative. You need to type a draft and be prepared to present it on Friday. SECOND- Comma Rule Assignment. Look at the following slides to make sure you know what to complete. THIRD- Edgar Allan Poe assignment, which is located on the classroom blog. We will be discussing the work on Wednesday in class. Comma Work Exceed Standards- Create a homework assignment for students whom did not meet standards. Your homework should cover the various punctuation rules and act as a review for your classmates. You can use multiple choice, matching, short answer, etc. Meet Standards- Working with a partner, create an anchor chart the supports one of the following types or punctuation and their various rules. Create a visual character that represents your punctuation mark, give the rules and examples on your poster. Make sure it is neat and no negative space. (Comma, Colon, Semicolon, Hyphen) DNM Standards- Use the computer or the Brown Grammar books and discover the wonderful world of comma rules. Create a graphic organizer in your ELA Journal the consists of the different comma rules with examples.
