Chromium treatments were initiated when seedlings were 15 d old. Total leaf protein was isolated from the plants subjected to Chromium treatments for 3 days. A sum of 150 µg of protein was loaded on a pH 3 – 10 IpG strip and protein spots were visualized by silver staining. Mr, relative molecular weight; pI, isoelectric point.
