Day 1 Commas keep words and ideas from running together. They tell your reader where to pause, which makes your writing easier to read. Place commas between words, phrases, or clauses in a series. Day 3 Doug wrote a story about a great present he got. Read his paper and look for ways she should revise/edit it. (1) I got the best birthday present ever for my tenth birthday.
