3 Benefit 1 … use of the Internet and multimedia to communicate globally or work collaboratively at the same time with clients or friends eg Skype (synchronous communication) or use eg or Google Docs to relay information to friend with a time lag (asynchronous communication)

A website is a tool that can help management to cut service costs and improve efficiency that can deliver information on their products or services instantly using social media sites and instant messaging services that can be used as the communication channel for you, the customer eg ‘contact us’ via that allows the company to listen to you at a convenient time for them or for you (24-hour access to their site) Any mobile device with access to the internet can be used

13 Remember ….. Sometimes things go wrong!
On most occasions, communication across the globe happens in microseconds, but sometimes things can go wrong! Faults do occur with the millions of connections that are happening from computer to computer and sometimes individual servers do break down. But even if part of the internet stops working, the rest of the internet can continue to carry on without a hitch.
