The hazard ratio (HR) was significantly higher at both low and high HDLC levels. *Adjusted for age, body mass index, baseline blood pressure category, impaired fasting glucose/diabetes, excessive alcohol intake, current smoking, regular exercise, and parental history of hypertension.
