3. ALLOCATION VS EXPENDITURE 2006/07
The Northern Cape was allocated a budget of R104, 774m for the 2006/07 in respect of the Integrated Housing and Human Settlement Development grant.
The expenditure for 2006/07 was R104,713
A rollover request of R60,000 was submitted to treasury

The first two quarters expenditure trends was low due to non-performing contractors on a number of projects
