Social Justice? Are Christians to be social? Yes! Lk.10:29-

Justice? Mic 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? How many kinds of Justice are there? Why is it “social justice” and not Justice? Col 3:25 For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality. Lk.6:31 Deu 10:18 He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing. Deu 16:19 You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality, and you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous. Kinds of Justice? Personal justice-revenge, Blind justice Act 10:34 So Peter opened his mouth and said: "Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, Rom 2:11 For God shows no partiality. Gal 2:6 And from those who seemed to be influential (what they were makes no difference to me; God shows no partiality)--those, I say, who seemed influential added nothing to me. What’s the Difference? “Social justice” is often a euphemism for socialism justice or Gov’t control and often isn’t justice at all, but injustice! Affirmative action? Quotas and preferences, not best qualified! Abortion – fair for who? The innocent? “Living wage” – Chicago teachers $68k Slavery reparations? $67, median base salary. Cant fire poor teachers w/seniority/tenure, demanding 16% inc. in a stagnant economy Average teacher pay is now about $76,000 a year, according to the district, which pegged the annual cost of the new contract at $74 million a year, or $295 million over four years. Also, the median, or midpoint, household income was $50,054,

Obama never offered more than six percent of his income to charity. Twice he gave less than 1% of his earnings. Even all the “good works” of these liberals, w/o Christ they are still lost! Nearly 1,800 citizens and permanent residents, a record since data was first compiled in 1998, expatriated last year, according to government figures. And now the SIXTH Obama Cabinet nominee, HHS nominee Kathleen Sebelius is a tax cheat! Count ‘em. SIX Tax Cheat. Well technically FIVE tax cheats, plus a spouse of a tax cheat. Today comes word about the fourth tax cheat nominated by Obama to his Cabinet. Today the tax cheat is Kathleen Sebelius, who replaced another tax cheat Tom Daschle to be Obama’s HHS. CBS has the info: The wire service reports that she and her husband paid just over $7,000 in back taxes, along with $878 in interest, for the years Here’s the list of Hussein Obama’s Tax Cheat nominees (so far) in addition to Sebelius: Tom Daschle, the first HHS nominee, Chief performance officer nominee Nancy Killefer. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, US Trade Representative Ron Kirk Labor Secretary Hilda Solis’s (husband) Meanwhile, Rep. Charles B. Rangel (D-N.Y.), the chairman of the supreme tax-writing body in the United States, the House Ways and Means Committee, is under investigation for, among other things, dodging taxes.

In those years, Obama (serving as Illinois state senator, then U.S. Senator) never offered more than six percent of his income to charity. Twice he gave less than one percent of his earnings. Fast forward a few years 2008, and the Obamas' returns tell a different story -- both of a higher income bracket and a far higher rate of charitable giving. The White House released the filings for both the President and the First Lady on Wednesday. Combined, the family brought in an adjusted gross income of $2,656,902, mostly from the sale of the President's books. The Obamas paid $855,323 in federal income tax. And they donated $172,050 - or about 6.5% of their adjusted gross income - to 37 different charities. Here are the notable donations made $25,000 to the Catholic Relief Services $25,000 to the United Negro College Fund. $5,000 to the American Red Cross $5,000 to the Boys and Girls Club $5,000 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation $1,000 to Columbia University $5,000 to the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity $5,000 to St. Leo's Residence for Veterans $2,000 to the Haiti Foundation of Hope $5,000 to the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault Noticeably absent from the charitable giving is the place where Obama sent $22,500 in 2006: his old church Trinity United. What about Spiritual justice?
2Cr 8:13 For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened, but that as a matter of fairness 2Cr 8:14 your abundance at the present time should supply their need, so that their abundance may supply your need, that there may be fairness. Should non tithers have same voice as those who sacrificially give? Should we expect spiritual justice!! 2Cr 8:1 We want you to know, brothers, [fn] about the grace of God that has been given among the churches of Macedonia, 2Cr 8:2 for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part. 2Cr 8:3 For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord, 2Cr 8:4 begging us earnestly for the favor [fn] of taking part in the relief of the saints– 1Cr 9:4 Do we not have the right to eat and drink? 1Cr 9:5 Do we not have the right to take along a believing wife, as do the other apostles and the brothers of the Lord and Cephas? 1Cr 9:6 Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no right to refrain from working for a living? 1Cr 9:7 Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Greed and Generosity are not income specific

Was Jesus a Socialist? How many times did he feed the hungry?
What did he say about those who ate? Jhn 6:26 Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.” Did He heal all the sick? Why did He heal? Jhn 9:1 As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. Jhn 6:27 Do not labor for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal." Jhn 6:34 They said to him, "Sir, give us this bread always." Jhn 6:35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. Jhn 6:41 So the Jews grumbled about him, because he said, "I am the bread that came down from heaven." Jhn 6:58 This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread [fn] the fathers ate and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever." “Christian” “Idolatry”
Ever inverse the 1st and 2nd Commandments? Ever love men above God? Glory of self? Do you give to Charities or Ministries? Give a man a fish – feed him for a day, Teach a man to fish – feed him for a lifetime, Introduce him to the Fisher of men and He can live abundantly and Eternally!! Do you give to Charities or Ministries? Do you give to feed children – but they don’t share the gospel? Feed hungry – even if forbidden to preach Jesus? Give – liberals Teach – conservatives Introduce – true Christians Mat 22:36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" Mat 22:37 And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Mat 22:38 This is the great and first commandment. Mat 22:39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Mat 22:40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets."

Never substitute a smaller cross for the blood stained one!
Jer 8:11-12 They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. "Peace, peace," they say, when there is no peace. Are they ashamed of their loathsome conduct? Suffering is the symptom, Sin is the Disease! Only Jesus can cure our greatest problem – preach the gospel! Not the Cross we’re supposed to be preaching! Jer 8:11 They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, 'Peace, peace,' when there is no peace. Jer 8:12 Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? ESV Act 3:6 But Peter said, "I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!" Isa 53:5 (ESV) — But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. 1Pe 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

His scenic photography has been used commercially, and he sometimes plays in a church worship band.More ↓ It took only hours after the posting of a pro-Israel slogan in New York City for opponents to launch a violent spray-paint attack against the message and for a religious adviser to Barack Obama to use the conflict to try to raise money for his own campaign. At the center of the ruckus is an attempt by New York transit authorities to censor the message “In Any War Between the Civilized Man and the Savage, Support the Civilized Man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad.” The message, which authorities call “demeaning,” is being promoted by the American Freedom Defense Initiative and its executive directors Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer. Lawyers with the American Freedom Law Center have been working with them to overcome anti-Israel activism that has deterred and delayed the posting of the ads. Just days ago, WND reported that the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority halted a plan to post the ads this week, expressing concern about “situations happening around the world” and the “security and safety” of passengers. A court hearing has been scheduled. In New York City, the ads were posted only after a federal judge struck down the transit agency’s policies as a violation of the First Amendment. However, according to the New York Post, a self-described “liberal Muslim,” Mona Eltahawy, “strolled up to one of the signs at the crowded 1/2/3 train mezzanine at the Times Square station and sprayed pink paint on the ad.” The report said a Manhattan mother, Pamela Hall, rushed to stop Eltahawy, who insisted she had a right to deface the message. “I think this is freedom of expression, just as (the ad) is freedom of expression,” Eltahawy said. She was arrested and accused of creating graffiti, possessing a graffiti instrument and criminal mischief. Tim Graham of Media Research Center pointed out that Eltahawy has appeared periodically on NBC, MSNBC and CNN. He noted that in CNN’s reporting on the confrontation, Eltahawy was identified only as an “activist.” Geller, who noted the latest developments at her blog, Atlas Shrugs, said the destruction actually validates the message to oppose jihad and savagery. “The defacement is a metaphor for the entire national conversation on these issues. Hundreds and hundreds of anti-Israel posters ran all over the country. Not one was defaced,” she said. However, Geller said: “One anti-jihad poster goes up, and it’s defaced within an hour, while its creator faces defamation, smears and libel. Mona Eltahawy, a Muslim writer who was herself assaulted in Egypt by people she called ‘beasts’ took a can of spray paint to our ad and assaulted a pro-freedom blogger, Pamela Hall, who tried to stop her.” Geller continued: “Islamic supremacists and leftist thugs criminally defaced these ads within an hour. This is a physical manifestation of the way the entire conversation, or lack thereof, always goes: anyone who speaks about jihad and Shariah is attacked, defamed, destroyed – just like these ads. This is exactly what’s happening in the media regarding jihad coverage in general. “Anti-American, anti-Israel, pro-Shariah hate is all over the airwaves, but anyone who dares to speak the truth about Islam and jihad in the media is immediately smeared and defamed. You can’t have this conversation in the media, any more than I can present these pro-Israel ads, and receive any semblance of fair treatment,” she said. The Post released a video of the confrontation in the subway station. The second line of opposition to the anti-jihad ads was announced by Sojourners, the publication led by Rev. Jim Wallis, one of the Obama’s top religious advisers. His group announced “Christians across the country are standing up to counter anti-Muslim ads” and launched a fundraising drive to support a “Love Your Muslim Neighbor” ad campaign in New York. In a statement, Wallis said: “The second of The Ten Commandments is ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ It didn’t come with stipulations. It didn’t come with extra addendums, with added qualifiers. Christians around the world need to put that into action as often as we can, especially where we see hatred like this.” Actually, the second of the Ten Commandments is: “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.” “Love your neighbor” was the second commandment mentioned by Jesus when his disciples asked him which was the most important. The first was to the effect, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind.” The Wallis statement said: “Everyone – regardless of race, religion, or creed – deserves to feel welcomed and safe when riding public transit in America. With tensions across the world at an all-time high, the Christian community is doing what it can to promote non-violence in their own backyard, and this addition of subway ads to an ongoing billboard campaign only reinforces the Christian call to peace.” The New York Times describes Sojourners as “a left-leaning evangelical organization.” Geller told WND it’s “a pity that Rev. Jim Wallis didn’t get his group together to stand up when Christians, Hindus and so many others were facing vicious persecution in Muslim countries.” “Where is Sojourners when Christians are victimized by jihad? Wallis is standing up for those who oppress and kill Christians,” Geller said. The anti-jihad ad earlier drew opposition on the West Coast, where San Francisco transit officials accompanied it with a disclaimer. American Freedom Law Center co-founder David Yerushalmi pointed out that under the First Amendment, speech cannot be punished or banned “simply because it might offend a hostile mob.” The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s speech restriction, he said, is based on the perceived negative response that the American Freedom Defense Initiative’s message might receive from certain viewers based on its content and viewpoint. “However, a viewer’s reaction to speech is not a content-neutral basis for regulation,” he argued. “This is known as a ‘heckler’s veto,’ which is impermissible under the First Amendment.”

Islam = Social Justice However, Robert F. Shedinger, a professor at Iowa’s Luther College, has a different argument. He thinks Jesus was actually…a Muslim. Yes, really. In fact, he wrote a book explaining all about it: Got that? According to Shedinger, Islam is a “social justice movement,” not a religion, and since Christ supposedly supported “social justice,” that makes him a Muslim. Where do we begin with what’s wrong with this picture? The first and most obvious point would have to be that Christ, being born roughly 600 years before Islam even existed, is not capable of being a Muslim. To be sure, if you believe there are commonalities in values between Islam and Christianity (which scholars in both faiths do, in fact, believe), you could argue that Christ held some Islamic ideas. But to claim that he was a Muslim is to take it entirely too far.
