District Strategic Planning and Advisory Committee The purpose is to provide oversight and continuity of a regular strategic planning process and plan implementation for the District and coordination of the District’s annual work plan with the long-term District Strategic Plan for the effective development of Rotary in District Leadership Development Committee The purpose of this committee is to assist the District Governor Elect (DGE) in selection of a qualified leadership team for the district and to ensure development and continuity of human resources for the operational effectiveness of Rotary in District 5010.

Long Range Planning and Policy Committee (Strategic Planning Process) Function
An advisory committee to the Governor and Governor-Elect with special emphasis on the transition process. This committee will review and update District policy and procedures, provide assistance as required in the preparation of the District budget, and undertake other projects as assigned by the Governor.

 Goal: Work with the Assistant Governor’s to ensure Clubs complete a training needs assessment tool and develop a training plan that reflects the Club’s needs
