3. Homework is an EVERY day Event
1.5 – 2 hours daily.
Students/parents need to establish a set homework time and a clutter free/distraction free place to work.
There is no such thing as “I don’t have any homework”.
Students need to use their planner/calendar to help organize their time.
It’s OK to check and make sure homework is being completed.

5. Attendance
Poor attendance is the most common reason a student will fail their classes. TRY to ensure your child is attending school everyday, unless they are sick. Please make your BEST effort to schedule appointments after school hours. Remember to submit notes for excused absences.
If your child is sick please contact their teachers and myself as early as possible. Be prepared to leave an address, as often time assignments will be ed home.

It helps to have school be a “fun” place. Encourage your student to participate in extra curricular activities including sports, clubs, student government… etc
