3. EILERSEN manufactures load cells, instrumentation and communications modules that are all designed to work together to make your weight based process control systems simple to implement on the shop floor, on board your truck, or aboard ships at sea.

4. EILERSEN load cells are easy to install
EILERSEN load cells are easy to install. Mount the base plates, level, insert the load cell into the top capture ring, and route your coaxial cable. Your ready to begin weighing.
If there is concern about up lift, a simple upload checking mechanism can be installed as shown below.

5. CL series load cell with hygienic base
Eilersen also has a series of Hygienic load cells and base plates for clean room environments
Fasteners and their threads are not exposed to the possibility of contamination.
CL series hygienic base plate with hidden fasteners, or a more standard base plate style are both available

6. No longer will you need to connect “fiddly” little wires in the field.
Simply add the clamp on connector and screw it into the load cell – done.
If you have ever hooked up your TV cable connection at home – this is the same process.
Load cell cables are field repairable or replaceable without re-calibration of the weighing system. Even if you change the length.
Cables are RG58 co-axial with BNC connectors and can be up to 100m (325-ft) long per load cell.
No longer will you need to connect “fiddly” little wires in the field.
Cables are available with a variety of coverings, ex. Teflon, for specific application requirements
Even without the cable installed, the load cell is still hermetically sealed

7. Simple installations are further realized by the fact that all EILERSEN load cells are calibrated at the factory. Simply zero the deadload of the system, check for binding, and your system is running and calibrated.
The load cell outputs are actual weight values being sent via a RS485 serial output to an EILERSEN weight display or communication j-box that transmits to a PLC/PC.

8. Display screens and instrumentation are available in a variety of configurations and enclosure types. If you do not need a display we can provide “blind” instruments to embed inside your control panels.

10. No matter if you are working with a single load cell or with multiple load cell system, you have a choice of reading a summed signal, or each individual load cell in the system. Set the desired output type during your setup routine.
Imagine the cost advantage of multiple load cell inputs to a single communication port.
This also means you could have 4 separate scales being input through the same communication module.

11. So how can this technology cure so many of the problems of strain gage load cells?

12. EILERSEN load cells are just as flexible in use as the more typical strain gage based systems. Here you can see a variety of single point load cell applications for various overhanging hoppers. The impact and overload resistance of the technology makes mounting much easier in OEM machinery. Over hangs to 600mm (24”) can be supported with some of our load cells.

14. Capacitance based compression load cells can be used in a wide variety of application sites, even those with severe startup or side load forces. Installation remains simple even in these sites. Capacities to 500-tons (1,100,000-lbs) are available.

15. EILERSEN’s weighing products support many types of weighing applications, both plant and mobile requirements are equally supported.
