2 What is a “sea” bird? Spend a significant part of their life at sea
Feed on marine organisms (fish, invertebrates) glands in their skull which excrete a fluid with a high concentration of salt Most breed in large colonies Most mate as lifelong pairs Make up 3% of all bird species
