All LEAs (all phases) will have a one-year extension in submitting their Comprehensive Plan. Phase 2 LEAs: For any Phase 2 that submitted their Comprehensive Plan on or before November 30, 2016, the PA Planning Team will be setting those plans back into “Planning” mode by the end of February to allow schools the time to continue planning and revising as necessary. Phase 2 Comprehensive Plans will now be due on or before November 30, 2017. Please be sure to adjust timelines within the Implementation Step area.

All LEAs (all phases) will have a one-year extension in submitting their Comprehensive Plan. This one-year extension will include Special Education Plans since they are a part of the Comprehensive Plan. New Due Dates for Special Education Plans are as follows: Phase 1: May 1, 2019 Phase 2: May 1, 2020 Phase 3: May 1, 2018 *Letters and communications were sent directly to Phase 3 Districts, notifying them of the requirement to update their Program Profile (check off the assurance) in the system by May 1, 2017!

The extension does NOT apply to School Improvement Plans or Schoolwide Title I Plans (School Level Plans) School Improvement Plans (Priority and Focus Schools) need to be resubmitted via the web application by June 30, 2017. Schoolwide Title I Plans need to be completed and/or updated in the web application by June 30, 2017. The Schoolwide Template will not be an acceptable Schoolwide plan as of July 1st, 2017 for schools/charters running Schoolwide programs. As a reminder, schools implementing a Title I Schoolwide Program will now utilize the Comprehensive Planning web application to complete a School Level Plan/School Improvement Plan in its entirety. ALL Title I schools implementing a Schoolwide Program will have to have their plans updated in the Comprehensive Planning web application by June 30, 2017.
