Republican forces (Republican Army of the North) lead by Gutiérrez-Magee AND the Spanish authority under General Joaquín de Arredondo.
This was bloodiest battle ever fought on Texas soil

14. TEJAS Y Coahuila Coahuila y Tejas Texans lived under the State Flag of Coahuila y Tejas in the 1821 and 1830’s Angered Texans the capital became Saltillo, Coahuila.
