5. K-12 Cybersecurity Education and Training Assistance
CE&A is also focused on building interest in cybersecurity related activities and education in K-12 classrooms.
The Cybersecurity Education and Training Assistance Program (CETAP) grant equips teachers with FREE learning tools to integrate cybersecurity content into subjects such as math, science, and the humanities.

6. Centers of Academic Excellence
Selecting a school to pursue a cybersecurity related degree is made easier by designating certain institutions as Centers of Academic Excellence.

7. Scholarship for Service
College and graduate students can take advantage of programs that prepare them for their cybersecurity career and help make a degree more affordable.
CyberCorps®: Scholarship for Service (SFS) offers collegiate scholarships to increase and strengthen the cybersecurity workforce protecting the government's critical information infrastructure. Recipients agree to serve in a cybersecurity role with the government for a period equivalent to the length of their scholarship upon graduation.
69 universities provide scholarships to students pursuing a cybersecurity career
Average of 94% placement in the government upon graduation
There have been more than 2,300 SFS graduates since the program began in 2000
DHS co-sponsors two annual SFS Job Fairs (1 virtual, 1 in the National Capital Region)

11. Federal Virtual Training Environment (FedVTE)
Cybersecurity professionals can continue to improve their skills through hands-on training opportunities.
FedVTE is an online, on-demand training center that provides free cybersecurity training for federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial government employees and to U.S. veterans. As of January 2018, there are:
