2 Files and Naming Convention
Data files: Your_University_I_Administrator_Scored_V2.tsv Your_University__I_Student_Scored_V2.tsv Data dictionary: RCTDataDictionary_ docx .tsv files are in plain text format where data columns are delimited by tabs. You can change the file extension into .txt and import them into Excel, SPSS, etc.

3 CORE Measurements Behavior and Life Style Campus Environment
Fruit and Vegetables Intake Physical Activity Stress and Sleep Campus Environment CEPS Priority Readiness Demographics Age Gender Race and Ethnicity Additional Surveys Each school was allowed to include additional surveys if they requested. Data from those surveys were distributed to respective schools but were not analyzed or included in this report. More details may be found in the data dictionary.

4 Fruit and Vegetables Intake
NCI Fruit and Vegetables Screener All-Day Version (FV) a.k.a. NCI F/V Screener 20 items asking about consumption of various kinds of foods Measure/estimate total FV consumption in cups Reference: Thompson FE, Subar AF, Smith AF, Midthune D, Radimer KL, Kahle LL, Kipnis V. Fruit and vegetable assessment: performance of 2 new short instruments and a food frequency questionnaire. J Am Diet Assoc 2002 Dec;102(12): [official survey in PDF] We have already scored this survey into the Total FV Score (FV_SCORE_Total) Scoring instructions may be found in the data dictionary (see “Appendix: NCI F/V Screener”) or

5 Physical Activity International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ)
6 items ask for frequency and time length of vigorous activities, moderate activities, and walking Measured/estimated amount of physical activity by metabolic equivalents (METs) References: Bassett DR, Jr. International physical activity questionnaire: 12-country reliability and validity. Med Sci Sports Ex. Aug 2003;35(8):1396. Hagstromer M, Oja P, Sjostrom M. The International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ): a study of concurrent and construct validity. Public Health Nutr. Sep 2006;9(6): We have already scored this survey into the total METs (IPAQ_SCORE) Scoring instructions may be found in the data dictionary (see “Appendix: Physical Activity”)

6 Stress and Sleep Cohen Perceived Stress Scale (Stress) Sleep
14 items asking about various stress factors in life Reference: Cohen S, Kamarck T, Mermelstein R. A global measure of perceived stress. J Health Soc Behav. Dec 1983;24(4): We have already scored this survey into the total stress score (STRESS_SCORE) Sleep Average sleep hours per night (SLEEP_HOURS)

7 Campus Environment Perception Survey (CEPS)
A newly developed survey to measure perceptions of campus environment We have already scored this survey and computed the following scores: CEPS_SCORE_policy CEPS_SCORE_food CEPS_SCORE_water CEPS_SCORE_vending CEPS_SCORE_PA CEPS_SCORE_stress CEPS_SCORE_sleep CEPS_SCORE_Total Reference: Sowers, M., Colby, S., G Greene; Pickett, M., Franzen-Castle, L., Olfert, M., Shelnutt, K., Brown,O., Horacek, T., Kidd, T., Kattelmann, K., White, A.,Zhou, W., Riggsbee, K., Yan, W., and Byrd-Bredbenner, C. (2017). Survey Development to Assess College Students' Perceptions of the Campus Environment. American Journal of Health Behavior, 41(6):701–709. Scoring instructions may be found in the data dictionary (see “Appendix: CEPS”)

8 Priority Scores are summarized at the campus level, and thus are provided in the eB4cast report, but not in the raw data files shared (which has individual responses data at the respondent level.) “How important do you think the following health promotion policies, areas of focus or changes, would be for your University to adopt?” 31 items measured with 5-level Likert scale (1=Not important, 5=Very important) For each campus, we may summarize the priorities by computing the total score from all respondents and rank these priorities by total score

9 Readiness to Change 27 items of various formats
Scores are summarized at the campus level, and thus are provided in the eB4cast report, but not in the raw data files shared (which has individual responses data at the respondent level.) 27 items of various formats Five scores and a total were calculated for each campus, separately from students’ and administrators’ perspectives Administration's Readiness (Readiness_AR) Students' readiness (Readiness_SR) Individuals' Power (Readiness_IP) Level of interest (Readiness_LI) Power to change (Readiness_PC) Total readiness score (Readiness_Total)
