(B) The polyps consist of submucosal fibrovascular cores lined with normal mucosa (hematoxylin and eosin staining, ×12.5). (C) No epithelial dysplasia is identified, and chronic inflammatory cells in the lamina propria are normal in number to minimally increased (hematoxylin and eosin staining, ×40).
