1 The Battle of Agincourt
25th October 1415

2 The English army was slow so that the French army easily caught up.
The English army had been regaining territory all over France and was heading back to English Calais.

3 The French army was spilt into three rows
The French army was spilt into three rows. They also had Cavalry on the front wings. The battle field was muddy and had trees on both sides.

4 Most of the English army was made up of archers but they had infantry in the centre. Most of the archers were behind wooden stakes. The English also had hidden archers in the trees.

5 The English picked up their wooden stakes and progressed forward
The English picked up their wooden stakes and progressed forward. The French just watched. They then replaced their wooden stakes.

6 The English started shooting arrows at the French.

7 The French Cavalry progressed forward but some of the horses got caught on the wooden stakes.

8 The rest of the horses ran back and forth and then ran back at the French army as they were progressing forwards

9 The French army became mixed and confused
The French army became mixed and confused. While they were confused the English continued to shoot arrows and the men at arms moved forward to kill the struggling French.
