The Faculty Seminar provides UNCF faculty at UNCF member colleges and universities with an opportunity to enhance their teaching and/or scholarship in a domestic or international setting. Faculty Residency Program
The Faculty Residency Program provides an opportunity for selected UNCF faculty members to take up to a semester away from their home institutions to complete or begin a scholarly project. Summer Faculty Residency awards will not exceed $15, per award. The International Summer Faculty Residency award will not exceed $18, Semester Faculty Residency awards will not exceed $35, per award. Teaching and Learning Institutes create opportunities for UNCF faculty to come together through workshops, seminars and/or mini conferences to share strategies, scholarship and best practices that help to strengthen the teaching and learning environment. Grants will be determined on a case-by-case basis with the maximum award of $30,000 Teaching and Learning Institutes

Junior Faculty Development Fund
The Junior Faculty Development Grant, a new initiative of the UNCF/Mellon Faculty Career Enhancement Programs, provides a limited number of course release and faculty support grants to faculty teaching at UNCF and Mellon affiliated institutions. This grant is to be used to support a faculty member receiving release time from one course per semester or to support activities related to the furtherance of the faculty member’s research agenda. Preference is given to MMUF or UNCF newly minted Ph.D.s who have chosen to teach within the UNCF consortium of institutions Junior Faculty Development Fund
