2 Who Was George Washington Carver? ● George Washington Carver was born into slavery, on January 1864 and died on January 5th, 1943 ● There were no African American schools close to where Carver lived, so he moved and graduated from high school in Kansas

3 ACCOMPLISHMENTS One of George Washington Carver’s greatest accomplishments was working with the peanut.

4 How George Washington Carver changed the world? George Washington Carver changed the agricultural and economic life of many poor farmers, by turning an everyday peanut into many products.
