12. Leak Detection
Soluble oils give a white plume when discharged into the ocean. Such as Oceanic LTF (Leak Tracer Fluid)
More acceptable is the use of fluorescent dye. This can be detected by an Ultra-Violet (UV) lamp on an ROV.
