Conclusions Hitimisho
There was a low representation of women across the vaccinator categories and regions, there is need for sensitization of more women. Vaccine costs was ranked as major constraint for the active vaccinators and training as a major need for the no interest category. Provision of training would increase the number of active vaccinators and reduce the fraud in delivery of ITM (mode of delivery was cited as the main fraud in vaccine dissemination). Vaccinators report their activities with number of vaccinations and number year tags being the main issues reported. Information about vaccinations is mainly sent to the DVO while information about farmer feedback is mainly sent to the Distributors All vaccinators ranked more animals vaccinated as their main vision and expanding their ITM business as the most prioritized next step. This is inline with national and project goals on up-scaling ITM.
