To Love as HE loved Before this we knew love as: Love of a neighbor – Leviticus 19:18 Love of God – Deuteronomy 6:5

We need to understand what love is We need to understand what HIS love is

7. What is LOVE?
It is not an emotion or feeling Often rooted in selfish emotions It is an action Agapeos – love with the best intent Commanded to husbands, brothers, etc

8. How Did Jesus Love?
He refused to leave us alone in sin He rebukes But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, "Get behind Me, Satan….” Mark 8:33

He refused to leave us alone in sin He rebukes “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.” Revelation 3:19

We must be willing to take actions that result in the best situation for others - They may resent us for it - It may cost us personally We must live like Christ in Love

Hear and Believe – Romans 10:17 Confess Jesus as Lord – Romans 10:9 Repent of our sins – Acts 2:38 Be baptized for forgiveness – Acts 22:16 Serve faithfully until the end
