5  Theory:  The term desuperheating is known as attemperation or steam conditioning which actually used to reduce steam temperature in a high heat generation plants. Maniks desuperheater is designed to inject water and maximize the surface contact and direct contact between the steam and water to decrease the steam temperature.  Desupeheater inject water through the holes into the path of the high speed steam where water absorbs heat from the steam gets evaporated and the steam temperature is been lowered in the process. 6  Refrigeration purpose: The conventional refrigeration system consists of removal of heat from one source and expelling this heat energy to atmosphere. In general the removal of heat is known as cooling effect and represented in generic term as tones of refrigeration. The heat ejected to the atmosphere can be used for some other purpose. Advancement of technology has developed many applications to use this wasted heat. There is a simultaneous requirement of heating load when cooling is generated.
