2 BRAND INFORMATION BRAND HISTORY FEATURES AND BENEFITS COMPETITIVE SET
Created by winemaker Derek Rohlffs, Bravium is a collection of hillside and mountainside fruit from cool–climate vineyards of Sonoma’s Russian River Valley and Mendocino’s Anderson Valley. “Bravium” is a Latin word meaning prize, reward, or gift in which Derek relates to the land that bears the fruit for his wines. A single hawk feather graces the label echoing the power, elegance, and vitality of the wines, as well as Derek’s Cherokee roots and the hawks that circle over the vineyards. Wines represent a terroir–driven snapshot of their appellation. FEATURES AND BENEFITS Diligent attention to detail and generous amount of restraint to guide the wine to its full potential. Native yeast naturally initiate a slow, cool fermentation. Compelling, terroir–driven wines that pair naturally with food and have rare aging potential relative to their Chardonnay and Pinot Noir peers. Gentle movement and sterile filtration allows the production of transparent, terroir–driven wines of place that reflect each vineyard, appellation, and vintage specific character. Critically acclaimed wines. COMPETITIVE SET Decoy, Clos Du Bois, Copain, Kistler, Dumol, Chateau St. Michelle, Golden Eye
