2. Interacted with the following chapters :-
DANUBE chapter : Suggested location BELGRADE, Serbia
Advantages :-
Dedicated & experienced two past Regional officers, attended almost all RAL CRC’s.
Belgrade perceived as economical suitable compared to Spain & Turkey.
Organizing International Congress (Seminars) every year in December, since 40+ years.
Belgrade being a tourist place in Europe & will attract more delegates with spouses.
Ken SRC B supports the initiative.
Constraints :-
Lack of second run leadership in case of unforeseen circumstances.
No first hand past exposure of CRC’s.
Long absence in participating of CRC activities & is in default of chapter dues.
Approval / consent – depending Farooq or AKV’s visit, attending Congress in December in Belgrade.
Any entry visa restrictions ? To be explored.
Last two CRC’s held in Region B.

3. CAIRO Chapter – Location SHARM EL SHEIKH
Alternative : Nile Cruise – Yet to be explored
Advantages :-
Robust Chapter having sustainable leadership.
Past two CRC’s held in Cairo in 2003 / 2010.
Proposed venue at Sharm EL Sheikh – Is a tourist beach area.
Distinguished speakers available within the chapter.
Constraints :-
Arab spring / sudden unrest.
Venue city 510 Kms from Cairo
Possibility of ASHRAE travel advisory.
Last minutes hotel booking hassle at CRC 2010 by few delegates.

4. C) FALCON Chapter – Location Dubai, UAE
Advantages :-
Aggressive chapter with strong chapter membership & sustainable leadership.
Held two CRC’s successfully at Dubai in 2006 & 2011 at Abu Dhabi.
Many Nationalities do not need entry visa.
Visa for other nationals available on arrival.
Hospitality for the guests was at par excellence at Abu Dhabi.
Availability of large convention center + ease of sponsorship in the Middle East.
Accessible to most of the chapters.
Ease of getting many flights connections.
Constraints :-
Fiscal discipline to be maintained so that RAL & chapter gains.

5. D) TURKEY Chapter - Location – ANTALYA
Advantages :-
New chapter but held successful CRC 2015 at ISTANBUL.
Effective & strong chapter leadership & dedicated volunteers.
Local industry supports the chapter.
Constraints :-
Would not recommend recycling so soon.

6. Strong & effective chapter having excellent speakers.
E) HELLENIC Chapter
Advantages :-
Strong & effective chapter having excellent speakers.
Young & sustainable leadership with strong volunteer force.
Good in fast communications.
Last CRC held in 2005.
Constraints :-
Hellenic chapter keen to hold CRC 2019 during their 20th Anniversary.
Hellenic chapter BOG recommends CRC 2017 by Danube chapter.
