February 2017 – Establishing our school values to support a safe, caring school culture: RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, KINDNESS Back-to-School Grade 7 Event to work with next year’s leaders on school-wide behaviour matrix. September 2017 – Finalizing with staff the school-wide matrix Fall – Student-made reference posters School assemblies to be initiated – teaching of behaviour standards, leadership, and values.

8. Spring 2017 – piloting of program Kelso’s choice by Administration and YCW
May 2017 – YCW working with two classrooms (Grade 3FI and Kindergarten) to pilot the program
June 2017 – Staff sharing about the program
Fall 2017 – anticipated teaching of the program through the primary classes
Fall 2017 – Playground ambassadors to support kindergarten and grade 1 students to encourage positive play.
Continued work with SD35 Restorative Action teachers around intermediate conflicts that are long-standing and intermediate peace circles.
