Dad’s Army (1968) has created a very particular image of the LDV/Home Guard As you watch these clips make a brief notes on how the Home Guard are portrayed Who are they? How are they organised? Around the room are a series of sources on the Home Guard Work in pairs to find evidence to either agree or disagree with the claims made by Dad’s Army You need to: Make note of key information Show agreement/disagreement with the claims Think about how far you trust the source (Think CAPS)
