C: “Cuneiform” type cortical cataract: peripheral spicules and central clear lens; slowly progressive. D: Nuclear sclerotic cataract: diffuse opacity principally affecting nucleus; slowly progressive. E: Posterior subcapsular cataract: plaque of granular opacity on posterior capsule; may be rapidly progressive.
