2 Progression opportunities within the Creative media Sector
HE courses – Higher Education, helps you get in to a better entry level job, this is when you carry on from your current education Work Experience –  An internship is a great way to gain experience and discover what a particular role is like before applying for a real job. Training opportunities – Learning skills for a ceirtan Job to make you better in a specific skillset

3 University UCAS is a points system that helps you get in to University courses that you want, courses will state how many points you need. You get a certain amount of UCAS points per Grade, for example Pass – 72 Merit – 120 and Distinction - 168 Degree courses i might consider over the next two slides

6 Work experience There Isnt much work experience around where I live as far as I know, however the few that there is includes small private film companies and photography company's that make adverts and other kinds of small media projects I could take work experience at Pyramid Photography - Pyramid Studios 3 Parkfield House Teignmouth Road TQ1 4EX, here I could learn skills on hired professional photography such as weddings and birthdays. Contact I ed some places asking about work experience however I am yet to hear back.

7 Pros and Cons of HE (Higher Education) courses
The best way to get in to a good job without working up through the ranks Learn Professional skills at the highest level Chance to learn to live independently in a different place Looks great on a CV Cons Costs upwards of 10 thousand per year Hard to earn a living while at Uni Can be stressful with a lot of work

8 Pros and Cons of Work experience
Positives, Learn what a real work placement is like Looks good on CV Learn skills from profesionals It is possible to get lucky if you show good commitment and work ethic for someone to then offer you a job, you would start low running amd helping out however from there you can work your way up Negatives, Very low pay or No Pay Bottom of the list Jobs Chance of being used for free labour with no real teaching in return

9 Training You can can training in a variation of ways, this can include online, tutorials such as lynda.com, abdobe TV and finally Youtube. Also professional one on one sessions and workshops for example workshops-g17

10 Pros and Cons of Training
Tell me the positives and negatives of continuing your career via the training path Can you get a job with just training.
