Portugal is situated on the West of Europe. It’s part of the Iberian Peninsula. In the East of Portugal is Spain and in the other side is the Atlantic Ocean.

Most of Portugal was once covered by forests. But, everything changed, a lot of forests were burned.
The farming and hunting reduced the quantity of wild animal living in Portugal. In Portugal and Spain, it has the Iberian lynx, that doesn’t exist in the rest of the world.

Portuguese cities still retain their historic character and a lot of the old buildings remain intact.
A popular Portuguese art of tile painting and glazing is called “azulejos”.
