Place the reel of thread onto the machine…
…pull the thread to the left…
…and around the back hook.

6. …then place the thread around the top hook.

Following the arrows on the machine, pull the thread down…
…and around…
…then place the thread around the top hook.

7. The thread should now look like a capital ‘N’ !

10. Hold on to the top thread…

… and turn the Balance Wheel towards you…
… the top thread should pull the bobbin thread to
the top of the machine

11. You should now be ready to sew!
