3 Background Began in 10th century England as a team game in which players threw and kicked an inflated pig bladder. In 1871 official rules of rugby were adopted

4 Rules of modified Rugby
A try is worth one point and is when a player crosses the goal line with the ball and presses the ball on the ground. Players must pass backward or to the side by may never thrown the ball forward. A tackle is made when a player touches another player with two hands. A turnover occurs if the team does not get a try in 4 downs. No blocking or physical contact. The game begins with a kickoff. If the ball bounces on the ground, the player can still pick it up and run.
