2 Bell Work 9.26.2016: 5 minutes What do people use masks for?
What traditions/holidays can you think of that people use masks for? Start sketching ideas you have for your mask. ( what design will you paint, what part of your face)

7 Studio Time 9.21.2017 Goal: To complete a cast of your face
at least half of your face To assist others with completing their casts

8 Get A Partner Pick a bag of plaster at your table
Pick out some scissors You should already have water

9 Steps Put Vaseline on your face ( eyebrows beards)stay away from your hairline Overlap the plaster as you put it on to give it stability ( at least half of your face) Wait for it to dry Peal it off Next!

10 Demo Pick out two pieces of plaster

11 By the end of class today
You should have at least one mask done Next class switch and do your partners mask(Wednesday) Monday – you will have a sub, I will be at the State Art Meeting in SLC

12 Clean-Up Clean plaster off of tables(use paper towels and water)
Put the water containers in the sink and wash out(no plaster should be left inside) Leave the paper on the tables for 2nd period 2nd period, we will clean the tables Thank you for cleaning up!

13 Study Hall-PTC 4:30-7:15 tonight
Advisory students in my advisory, make sure you are working on something Home work Checking grades and missing what Making a plan of what you can do and which days in your planner Phones are tools(calculators, grade checks), not distractions(games, social media, etc.) Sign out what you did today 4 = working the whole time, 3= most of the time, 2= worked only half the time, 1= didn’t work on anything, 0=wasn’t even here Travel Pass Art Students Come in, find your work, get the supplies you need, clean up 5 min. before the bell rings
