1. Acute lymphoid leukemia (ALL)
Acute lymphoid leukemia (ALL). The four white blood cells (lymphoblasts) in the photomicrograph have a high nuclear to cytoplasmic ratio, and the chromatin in the nuclei is finely dispersed and homogenous in appearance. These changes are consistent with an acute leukemia of lymphocytic origin. Wright-Giemsa, 1000×.
