12 Steps to follow when calculating the cost price
Step 1: List all the ingredients/materials and quantities to be used Step 2: Write down the quantities of the purchased ingredients/materials (purchasing unit) Step 3: Indicate the cost of each ingredient/material (purchase price)

13 Calculate as follows: Step 4: Do conversions where necessary
Multiply the quantity by the price per g, l, m or other unit of measurement Step 5: Add up cost (total cost of one product) Step 6: Unit price; Divide the total cost by the number of items
