ENGR 181H = 1 hour
MEEN 491H = 4 hours
ENGR 482H = 3 hours
Total = 12 hours of Engineering courses (bingo!)
Still need 6 hours of other Engineering or Science (Math)

4. Finding Honors Courses
Stand-alone Honors sections
e.g., ENGR 111(201) – 2XX section numbers
Not very many in engineering, particularly MEEN (none)
"Stacked" Honors sections
3 courses spring 2016; 2 courses fall 2015
Do not do "Honors Contracts" any more
You must still ask the Professor to initiate it
Contact Professors before registration and/or ASAP after course instructors are posted in Howdy
Deadline = 1 week before classes

You must find a Professor to work with
Most profs use ….. 3 SCH = 10 hours/week (approx.)
UG students can also work on research as paid hourly
MEEN 491H is meant for junior or senior year
Form must be completed and submitted to Dr. Jacobs for approval

6. Maintaining EH Eligibility
Meet with "Department Coordinator" once per year
At least one "EH Activity" per semester
