2. What is a File?
A file is an object on a computer that stores data, information, settings, or commands used with a computer program.
Files are used to store your most important data in a clean, efficient way.

Human readable data is the form of data that can be read naturally by humans.
Human readable is usually in ASCII or Unicode rather than binary.
Some examples are:

Computer or machine readable is a format that can be easily accessed by the computer.

A file extension is a group of letters occurring after a period in a file name, indicating the format of the file.

.DOCX - Microsoft Word Open XML Document
.LOG - Log File
.PAGES - Pages Document
