2. What is authentic teaching?
Provides students with active learning opportunities that engage critical thinking skills and have relevance beyond the classroom.

4. Value Beyond School History
Connecting the articles they researched online to their own lives.
Connecting wars to arguments we all have with others. Like how we can avoid them, or even end the war/argument

5. Implicit views of student in history
Students pick a topic in history, like a war, president, anything they are interested in, and create a lesson and teach it to the class. The student will be able to express themselves, be creative, and interact with the class this way, while learning themselves by researching their topic.

6. Construction of knowledge in history
Students can take the bill of rights, or the constitution and rewrite it in their own words. The students can work in pairs, and present their rewritten contitution or bill of rights to the class, and then we will hang them up around the room.

7. Glen Loomis: Mrs. Hall uses the idea of going beyond school, and into the home. She uses everyday objects to teach lessons, by using blocks, conecting lessons to the students.
West: At West the special ed. Program teaches the boys how to socialize, and be a part of society. Everything is based around them conecting school to life.
