Active Vs Passive sentences
In an active sentence, the subject performs the action.
In a passive sentence, the subject is at the receiving end of the action.
The passive can be used when the receiver of the action is more important than the doer.

A sentence generally begins with the performer
Of the action (subject) then the verb, then the
Object or person that the action is performed on, this is called an ‘active’ sentence.
