2. Expression vs. Equation?
What is the difference?
Expression is like a phrase in a sentence.
Ex: when I went to the zoo…
Ex: the other day…
Equation is like a complete sentence.
Ex: When I went to the zoo, I saw a giraffe.

3. Expressions Are NOT complete. They do not have an = sign. 4x + 3

4. Equations
They ARE complete (like a complete sentence). They have an = sign. Ex: 4x + 2 = 10 Ex: 3 x = 23
