A mathematical sentence that contains one of the following symbols: ≤, ≥, <, >

11. Function
A rule that establishes a relationship between 2 quantities the input and output
There is exactly one input for each output

12. Input A value in the Domain of a function (x)
Example: (2,4), (5, 7), (1,3)
Domain: 2, 5, 1

13. Output A value in the Range of a function (y)
Example: (2,4), (5, 7), (1,3)
Range: 4,7,3

14. Relation
A set of pairs of values. The 1st value in each pair is the input and the 2nd value is called the output

The set of all possible values of the independent variable in a function
It is the x in the ordered pair

16. Range The set of all dependent values It is the y in the ordered pair
